Lined with MOLLE these are designed first and foremost to attach to tactical vests or packs. Opened with dual zippers, the inside reveals at first a clear window sleeve, an elastic hook & loop band on the other side along with a adjustable draw cord running round the edges. The draw cords can be adjusted in a way that if you were wearing this on your chest you can have it flip down and stay in a fixed position for you to quickly read your map/reference sheet. Should you need to examine it closer or pass it to a squad mate - you can rip the whole panel out due to its hook & loop backing. The elastic band can be used to simply tuck in a med pouch for example, or mount VX mag sleeves (not included). This way they can be poking out the top fulfilling the role of a primary combat pouch as well as quickly unfolding into a quick map reference/admin pouch.
